Teh List

1. Nothing makes my winter holidays more than The Smell of Christmas and a glass of eggnog.
2. Walking home from Elementary school, if I saw a cat that looked hungry to me, I'd bring it home and feed it. Little did I know, that I was actually a cat burglar.
3. I've never lived for more than 6 months without an animal with me.
4. When I was a toddler, I had a strange obsession with toilets.
5. I love to cook, but I rarely eat what I've made.
6. I was born deaf in my left ear, and have declining hearing in my right.
7. When the garbage and recycling people come at 4am, I'm glad I'm deaf in one ear.
8. I am an insomniac. I can go for days without sleep, and rarely sleep at night.
9. I have more scars than I can count, mostly on my legs.
10. One doctor that did some stitches in my legs said that the only model I'd ever be is a model for dull razors. I didn't find him funny.
11. I love horror movies.
12. I love going to Red Lobster, but I never order anything other than the Crab Alfredo.
13. I hardly ever wear makeup, but I'm also rarely seen without my toenails painted.
14. I love candles.
15. I have a 13 year old Umbrella Cockatoo named Matilda (Tilly for short) who is my twin soul.
16. I also have a Tri-colored Holland lop rabbit named Snickers. He's the most gentle and cuddly rabbit I've ever met.
17. Snickers and Tilly are good friends. Tilly even feeds him treats.
18. My husband is 18 years older than I am. Some people have a problem with this until they see us together.
19. I don't like the taste of coffee or beer.
20. I do drink my share of cola.
21. I'm always hot.
22. I know what menopause feels like. I was put in a medication-induced menopause for 2 years. I really don't want to do that again.
23. My husband is a gadget man. Secretly, I don't mind all the gadgets as long as I know how to use them.
24. I give pretty good massages.
25. I thrive in "creative chaos".
26. I like to try new things.
27. I don't think I'll ever have children. Mainly because I'm scared to bring them up in today's world.

29. I can speech-read.
30. I know American Sign Language in case I lose my hearing completely someday.

37. I sleep with a teddy bear.
38. I am diabetic.
39. Never, never eat more than 5 sugar free Jelly Belly Beans within a 5 hour period. TRUST ME.
40. I have one tattoo. It is a permanent sign of temporary insanity. It was supposed to be a smiley face, but my "friend" thought it would be funny to leave the mouth out, so it looks like a gang tattoo or a prison tattoo.
41. I hate wearing shoes.
42. I feel most comfortable in sports t-shirts and jeans.
43. In kindergarten, I led a class revolt where we all stood on our chairs and stomped. I don't remember why, but now that I'm older it's funny as hell.

45. I played soccer in high school, and play tennis now.
46. I never outgrew video games.
47. I seem very strong emotionally, but I'm really quite sensitive.
48. I am quite strong physically.

65. I am unable to comprehend violence, discrimination, and intolerance.
66. I am even more confused with violence against children.
67. My favorite thing to do is sit at home with my husband and animals and watch a movie as I knit or spin.

Love your top 67! And as I read it, we have so much in common. Who knew another woman out there hated shopping! And of course, the Crab Alfredo. With Cheddar Bay biscuits, of course.

I really enjoyed your list. You are the first person I have run across with the same middle name as my grand daughter... of course Grandma picked it. She is Hevin Leigh. Love her to death. Keep up the good work. Soul mates have no age :)
